Ben Clarbrough
Ben has been an SBINZ Snowboard examiner snce 2000, & currently holds a seat on the Snowboard Technical Committee.
Ben works out of Queenstown in the winter and summer.
Dan Smith
Dan has been a SBINZ examiner since 2008, and has done season in the US as well as in Europe. Dan is based in Queenstown for the winter and follows the snow in the northern hemisphere winter.

Our programs are designed to give you the opportunity to come down to Queenstown, New Zealand and enjoy the snowboarding and lifestyle that this world famous destination has to offer.
At the same time as having a New Zealand Experience of a lifetime, we will be training you to achieve a global industry recognised qualification.
Our program is purposely designed to be more rounded then just how to be an instructor, with freestyle & freeride influences, you will also learn about Avalanche Awareness and a First Aid course, and go on a Heli-Board day!

You will be involved in a snowboard training program which is designed not only to develop your own personal riding, but also to provide you with the necessary snowboard teaching and analytical skills to become a qualified snowboard instructor.
The NZSIA qualifications are the perfect qualifications to allow you enter into the working world of ski instruction, or to just improve your personal performance.
You will be sitting two qualifications the -
NZSIA Level 1 and the NZSIA Level 2.
If you have ever thought about entering into the world of snowboard instruction, or you just want to improve your own riding, then New Zealand is the ideal place to do it. Cheap, friendly and with an unrivaled kiwi attitude.
At the end of the program our aim is for everyone to sit the NZSIA Level 1and the NZSIA Level 2 qualifications.
New Zealand is an excellent place where the winter is "off season" (June - Oct). Therefore you could spend a northern hemisphere summer training to gain a snowboard instructors qualification that is highly regarded world wide; NZSIA Level 1and the NZSIA Level 2 qualifications.
For many years now New Zealand has been the "summer" melting pot of snowboarding. With some of the worlds best heading south for some of the best "summer/winter" riding on the planet!
